First, good looking, sturdy table that ended up in my living room because it looked so good rather than moving to the playroom! (I bought walnut.) Second, I am 5'4" tall and about 120 lbs. and MY LEGS FIT UNDER THIS TABLE ON THE CHAIR. That was an unexpected bonus and it's so much more pleasant for us to do puzzles, play board games, and color together this way. Previously, either he was on his knees at the kitchen table, or I was on the floor at the coffee table. This table is great, and was well worth the money. I sent quite a bit of time looking for a table and chair set that was bigger, for more of the mid child range (ages 5+) where I wouldn't have to repurchase chairs within the next year or two and I couldn't be more pleased with this.
