I ordered this desk for my home office. The box came damaged and I was concerned about the table, but the desk was packaged so well that there was no damage to the item. It was easy to assemble, taking less than 20 minutes to put together on my own. The top is beautiful with a wood grain appearance, but smooth with no divots. It is a lighter weight table, but still study. I have a 4 year old who bashed the chair into the desk and it moved a little, but still study against a wall. My only complaint is that there is not enough room to attach a desk clamp power surge or desk clamp for dual monitors. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase.
