EUREKA ERGONOMIC 55" Gaming Desk with Mouse Pad & Cup Holder - Perfect for PC Gamers & Home Office

I've spent the better part of 2020 working out of my house due to the ongoing COVID Pandemic and even now I'm still under a work from home mandate. After roughly 8 months of using one of those foldable dining tables that you buy in sets of 4 I decided I'd had enough. I barely had enough room to set my laptop much less a mouse so my arms were always in a bad position and the carpal was beginning to kick in. With that I decided to research for a real desk to replace what I was using. I initially started off looking at height adjustable desks....that then morphed into motorized height adjustable desks. But all I could find were desks that were far too large for where I would want to place one. That was sort of a blessing in disguise because I decided to do more in depth research on desks and stumbled across the gaming desk sub category. Turns out there is almost endless array of desks and companies to choose from. I was running into the same problem of desk sizes being too large but happened to find this Eureka model that had an option perfect for my spot. I think out of the dozens of tables/manufacturer combinations I looked at none came in the form factor that this one did. Not only does it provide plenty of room for the essentials but it also has some extra bells and whistles that make it top notch.Design: It's a no frills design that includes two perfectly placed cable holes. This is helpful depending on which side of the table you need the cables to come up on. The size can easily manage 2 smaller sized laptops or one very large laptop with a mouse. There's also ample room to put other items like your phone. A mouse pad that covers the entire 1/3 of the desk is also included making it easy to use a mouse. There is both a cup holder and hook on either side of the desk that I find to be extremely useful as well. A separate little stand that holds games and a controller (in my case Xbox) is another extra. There's also a power supply holder hidden beneath the desk on the backside but I didn't use it. The material that coats the top of the desk is very nice as well. It's stated as being carbon fiber and I'm compelled to believe it is as I've used this material on some of my portable gaming devices and it feels pretty much the same. Real nice material that doesn't scuff or scratch very easily. Everything is extremely well made and sturdy. Desk is extremely stable and doesn't exhibit any shaking even when I try to shake it. Despite it's sturdiness it's also surprisingly light. If I need to move it around I can do so by myself with no trouble.Assembly: Super easy to put together. Took me all but half an hour to set up and I'd say I'm no handyman. Everything lined up perfectly with no off center holes or anything like that.All in all I have to say I'm nothing but satisfied with this purchase. Not only was I able to find a small enough table to fit my needs but it also exceeded my expectations in terms of the quality to price ratio. And it looks sleek and modern to boot I honestly can't find any faults with this desk.I use this desk for my laptop and not for gaming. I like the longer width even though it is not very long to accommodate smaller spaces. This allows me to rest my arms on my elbows while typing and it has enough space to take notes in a notebook while I am taking an online class. I also like how the cup holder is off of the desktop - even non-gamers like to drink something while they are at the computer. It did have a couple of minor imperfections (this might even have been a return) but they were not enough to be a deal-breaker for me and my purposes. If you are looking for a small desk that still has enough desktop space to work comfortably, this desk might be a good choice.When I saw this desk pop up on Amazon as an alternative to the regular office desks I was looking for it was like a lightbulb moment. I looked at basic $50-100 desks all day and just wasn't impressed at all until I saw this Eureka 39" desk. Not gonna lie, I was really afraid that it was gonna be too small for my space but I was way wrong. It was literally the perfect size sitting about a foot and a half away from my bed across from my PS5/4KTV setup. It really helped clean up my space and at the same time give me a way to incorporate a gaming monitor to use as a secondary screen for my gaming laptop. All in all a really simple setup process that took me about 30 minutes and I am beyond happy with it.My son loves itBeen using it for 1-2 years or so and it’s been holding great. It’s pretty big and can hold lots of items, I have 3 monitors and a bunch of more things and it’s holding great. Overall it’s a good product and I recommend buying it.Easy to set up and awesome to use. Haven't had any problems as of yet and the drink holder comes in handy when doing hardcore gaming on Call of Duty!The desk is a great substitute for an office desk. I also like the clean, light appearance (I didn't apply any of the stickers).Disadvantages:- the mouse pad is impossible to use if you are using a mouse with your right hand, b/c the sim is rough and pokes the skin- the accessories (cup and headphone holders) require you to create new holes (by screwing the screws in), instead of having pre-made slots.I'm satisfied and plan on buying another one.Wobbly. Not sturdy whatsoever. Cheap materials… chips easily. Disappointed. Wish I can return…La mesa está muy padre, venia con todo lo necesario para armarla, incluso dos llaves y 1 desarmador imantado, el armarlo fue sencillo muy difícil que alguien se pueda equivocar, yo necesitaba algo de buen tamaño para poder tener mi PC a mi lado ya que se me hace más funcional, como pueden ver en la foto, alcanzó para mi PC, dos pantallas y todavía me queda un buen espacio para trabajar, el envió fue muy rápido, la caja venia algo maltrata pero la mesa en el interior viene bien protegida, no le puse el porta taza ni el porta audífonos porque en verdad es grande y me estorbarían prefiero tenerla así, otra cosa que me gustó es que las imágenes de victory son estampas y vienen aparte se agradece que no vengan ya puestas, lo que si no me agradó tanto aunque lo veo más como un tipo de obsequio es el mouse pad que más bien es una alfombra muy grande, la idea está bien y se ve bonita pero no me convence del todo, la ocuparé mientras, aunque creo que la quitaré no me gusta mucho, finalmente otro punto a destacar es que al menos par a mi es estable y robusta, la puse en mosaico y no se patina, eso sí, si adrede la empujas se balancea un poco pero pues trabajando normal, sin problema se mantiene sin moverse.Be aware that the "good for the money" adage really comes into play here.The construction while not that bad, isn't very robust. I bought this as a present for my son and while pretty simple to setup up, once done we found that the desk had an incredible amount of wobble to it. He has 2 desk monitors. His main gaming monitor would wobble quite a bit simply moning his mouse and working his keyboard and the 2nd monitor would really shake - partly due to the crappy stand but this problem didn't exist on the old folding table he had been using prior.We first removed the screw in feet thinking that the increased surface area of the base would be more stable but it was worse. What we ended up having to do to mitigate the problem was only add the 2 front feet and unscrew them so they pushed 'up' the front, forcing more weight on the back of the base. This worked well enough for him to be able to play. There was a little anxiety here for sure as the thought of disassembling and boxing it up for return was, well....Keep in mind this is for a carpeted area. Might be better on a hard surface. Who knows.Pros:- price- decent surface area- easy to clean- cup holder is nice touchCons:- possible instability (as stated above)- the 2 table top panels don't line up and are offset by about a 1/4"Excelente producto, llego mucho antes de lo indicado. He and I put it together. The instructions were clear, and all tools are included. The construction feels solid, and good quality.
